A Jewish prayer book (Siddur) in the Sepharadic tradition, translated into Romanian with commentary by Avraham Shlomo Gold.
Details: While I cannot date the siddur with absolute certainty (no year was published on the title page or its verso), based on the prayer of the government for Ferdinand I and Maria (on p.228-229) I can narrow the date of publication to the period between 1914, when Ferdinand inherited kingship over Romania, and 1927, when he died. Because Ferdinand's official coronation came in 1922, I have tentatively dated the work, circa 1925. An earlier edition of this siddur was dated to 1903 .
Imaging of this Siddur was made using a custom set-up. Images were processed using Scan Tailor v.0.9.11.1. The commentary of A.S. Gold has been cut-off on several pages due to a printers error in the printed work. On these pages, I have scanned below the page, indicating where the text is cut-off.
